Research Project Manager

Kelsey Ross, MPH, CHES is a Research Project Manager in the UNC Department of Family Medicine. Kelsey is responsible for planning, conducting, and monitoring research projects within the Department. She has experience in program management, research coordination, evaluation, and policy/systems work. Kelsey is passionate about public health, improving the health of communities, research and advocating for systems-level change. Prior to joining UNC, Kelsey worked with the North Carolina Oral Health Collaborative at the Foundation of Health Leadership & Innovation as a Program Coordinator, engaging with communities, and promoting improved oral health outcomes. She has also worked with a school-based childhood obesity initiative, Motivating Adolescents with Technology to Choose Health (MATCH), during which she gained experience in program management and evaluation at East Carolina University and MATCH Wellness, Inc. Kelsey holds a Master of Public Health from East Carolina University and a bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
