Montefiore Einstein / Moses Weiler Residency
Dr. Hamza Sadhra is a third-year Internal Medicine resident at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He leads the GI and Hepatology Research Group within his residency program and has a strong academic focus on hepatology, addiction medicine, and health equity. His research centers on alcohol-associated liver disease, transplant evaluation, and improving care for patients with substance use disorders through multidisciplinary and community-informed approaches. Dr. Sadhra will be starting a Gastroenterology fellowship and plans to pursue advanced training in transplant hepatology.
