T32 Postdoctoral Research Fellow

I am in the first year of a two-year T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship in Health Services and Outcomes Research at Northwestern University in Chicago IL. The focus of my research is how to improve treating substance use disorders in the Emergency Department (ED). I work at in the Northwestern Memorial Hospital ED as an attending physician and as a clinical instructor for Northwestern University educating resident physicians and medical students. During my clinical residency in emergency medicine my research focused on improving treatment for people with opioid use disorder (OUD) in the ED. As a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern I will expand my research focus to include treatment of alcohol use disorder (AUD) in the ED.
