Brianna Aguilar is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania and Co-Founder of Addiction Care Volunteers. She supports hospital-based and community-engaged research initiatives focused on substance use disorders, HIV prevention, and improving care delivery for structurally vulnerable populations. Her work centers on addiction medicine and harm reduction. Her research interests include health services research, implementation science, and the role of social determinants of health in shaping access to and engagement in addiction treatment, particularly among hospitalized patients. She will begin medical school in Fall 2026 and plans to continue advancing equitable addiction care through clinical practice, research, and advocacy.
