Matt Boyer, MD, FASAM, is a board-certified addiction psychiatrist with Rogers Behavioral Health in Philadelphia. He earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State University and his medical degree from the Marshall University School of Medicine. Matt completed residency in adult psychiatry at Zucker Hillside Hospital, Northwell Health. He served as the chief resident for ambulatory care in his final year of residency. He went on to complete fellowship training in addiction psychiatry at NYU Langone Health. Matt recently contributed as a field reviewer to ASAM’s publication "Engagement and Retention of Nonabstinent Patients in Substance Use Treatment."
