Jeanie Lozano, MSW (Candidate) is a Master of Social Work student at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with a macro concentration and an anticipated graduation date of May 2, 2026. She serves as a Graduate Research Assistant on HRSA-funded workforce development initiatives focused on strengthening the behavioral health and peer recovery workforce. Her work centers on program development, outcome measurement, and expanding access to integrated behavioral health services in underserved communities.
Jeanie co-authored “Live One, Do One, Teach One”: Representation in the Peer Workforce in Behavioral Health, accepted for publication in Community Mental Health Journal, and has presented at state, national, and international conferences. She plans to pursue clinical licensure while continuing macro-level systems work to advance sustainable, community-based behavioral health care.
