Jasmine Bazinet-Phillips is a Dean’s Medical Student Research Fellow (DMSRF) at The Robert Larner, MD College of Medicine at The University of Vermont. Before attending medical school, Jasmine attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine, and graduated with a double major in Government and Education, focusing on Schools, Society, and Culture. After college, Jasmine served as a Teach for America educator in Baltimore, Maryland, and earned a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education. Jasmine is currently working closely with OBGYN residents and faculty to address barriers to care for perinatal patients with substance use disorder in the realm of medical education, research, and advocacy.
