Anna-Maria South, MD, completed medical school at the Boonshoft School of Medicine, and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky (UK). She is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the UK College of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. She works as a hospitalist and addiction medicine physician, with an interest in vulnerable patient populations with substance use disorder (SUD).
