Dr. Laura Kehoe is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She earned her A.B. from Washington University in St. Louis, her MD from Tufts University School of Medicine, and her MPH from Boston University School of Public Health. She completed her internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and is board certified in internal medicine and addiction medicine.
Dr. Kehoe has provided care across primary care and inpatient, residential, and outpatient substance use disorder treatment settings. She currently cares for patients at the MGH Substance Use Disorder Bridge Clinic, which she founded and led as Medical Director for eight years, and serves as Medical Director for several Health Care Resources Centers (Baymark) opioid treatment programs.
She teaches locally, regionally and nationally, and provides consultation to primary care providers through Massachusetts’ Consultation Service for the Treatment of Addiction and Pain (MCSTAP) program. Dr. Kehoe is active in advocacy and professional leadership, including prior service as Secretary and President-Elect of the Massachusetts chapter of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Her work focuses on advancing addiction care through clinical innovation, education, and systems change, with a particular focus on modernizing and reforming methadone access and treatment.
