Rebekah Torchon, PharmD, MS is a native of the State of New York but grew up on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. She is proud to be a two-time graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelor’s in History. She completed PGY-1 residency training at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, and is currently completing a PGY-2 specializing in Psychiatry at Eskenazi Health/Purdue University in Indianapolis, IN and West Lafeyette, IN, respectively. Prior to obtaining her Pharmacy degree, she attained a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science from
Liberty University. Her interests include psychiatry and medication safety. Rebekah’s heart is to be an advocate for the underserved, providing quality and accessible behavioral health care to those in rural areas. Rebekah is a proud aunt of six nieces and three nephews, and as the first in her family to obtain a
doctorate, she hopes to inspire them to achieve their greatest potential. In her free time, you will find her serving at her local church, eating Mediterranean and Italian food,listening to podcasts, being outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family. Rebekah is a first-generation Haitian American and is fluent in Haitian Creole.
