Unlock the power of the Cannabis Youth Treatment (CYT) Manual and gain the confidence to treat cannabis use disorder (CUD) in adolescents and young adults. This interactive session equips you with easy-to-apply, evidence-based and tools with measurable impact—perfect for any clinician, regardless of experience in addiction treatment. Through dynamic case discussion and engaging activities, you'll discover how to integrate the CYT Manual into your practice and courageously address the rapidly evolving challenge of cannabis use in today’s youth.

Learning Objectives:

Learners will be able to:
  • identify key components of the Cannabis Youth Treatment (CYT) Manual and explain how its evidence-based psychosocial intervention can be applied to treat youth cannabis use disorder (CUD).
  • locate and identify at least two tools or forms from the CYT Manual and explain how they can be incorporated into clinical practice to support the treatment of youth CUD.
  • develop a draft personalized action plan to apply the CYT Manual’s intervention into attendees' own clinical setting, addressing potential barriers and tailoring treatment to meet the unique demography of the target population.
