This presentation aims to provide a blueprint for other jails and prisons to increase access to MOUD, such as methadone. We will discuss the CDOC's path towards OTP licensure and expansion of methadone services under a DEA hospital/clinic designation as outlined in 42 CFR Part 8. We also will discuss the use of the DEA hospital/clinic designation as a sole means to provide methadone in the WADOC.
